Advanced Design in 3D / Design Awareness

ARCH 334 is CRC Architecture’s “Maker Class.” It emphasizes the digital design process and comprehensive prototyping, with a focus on three-dimensional design in a makerspace. You’ll learn to conceptualize, design and prototype interactive physical objects using waterjet and laser cutting, CNC machining, 3D modeling, 3D printing and basic hand tools. Working individually and in teams, you’ll build both prescribed and open-ended design projects that bring these techniques together.
